Noble Youth Commonwealth Christmas Nativity

 Abraham was a Wise Man this year. The Myrrh wise man to be exact. The performance was put on at the Las Vegas Rescue Mission and at the Willow Creek Assisted Living residence. There was singing and dancing and the reading of the birth of our Lord.

Thanksgiving Day

 This year our Thanksgiving celebrations were hosted by yours truly.

The day was beautiful! And with a full house of family, would couldn't have been more blessed or had more reason to be thankful.

 I, however, did a horrible job at capturing any photographic memories. So what a share is only an uber small glimpse of our day.

 Maybe next time I'll be better prepared at documenting our festivities...or perhaps one of my daughters will take up the task of being family events photographer (Abby).

Independence Day

God Bless this Wonderful Land. 

May we ever strive to be a virtuous people!

We spent the morning just hanging out at home. Getting ready for a party with out favorite family members and some great friends!

I always have wanted to make one of these, but never have. So I procrastinated to longer and just did it! I thought it turned out just like the picture! Success. Then of course we had to take a hostess gift...homemade strawberry jam.

After a great dinner and some swimming, we headed out to do some fireworks!

Farewell Jesse

Or perhaps we should say Elder Jesse Bullock

Today Jesse spoke on church and gave his 'farewell' talk. He did a most amazing job. All that time working with Stephen Pratt allowed him to develop a great skill. Tomorrow he will travel up to Utah and on Wednesday at noon he will check into the Missionary Training Center where he will prepare to serve his full time mission in Fukuoka, Japan.

So we spent the day together as family and had a most joyous day. and to boot, it was Easter.

Happy Easter

We decided to celebrate 'modern' Easter on Saturday morning so our focus could be more on Christ come Easter Morn.

Each girl got an Easter fascinator, including myself, made by yours truly, and Abraham got a yellow gingham tie.
