Farewell Jesse

Or perhaps we should say Elder Jesse Bullock

Today Jesse spoke on church and gave his 'farewell' talk. He did a most amazing job. All that time working with Stephen Pratt allowed him to develop a great skill. Tomorrow he will travel up to Utah and on Wednesday at noon he will check into the Missionary Training Center where he will prepare to serve his full time mission in Fukuoka, Japan.

So we spent the day together as family and had a most joyous day. and to boot, it was Easter.

We had to get in a little Easter egg hunting

A hammock is always a good place to relax.

Testing out the water...and the new water camera!

Good luck Jesse...we sure are proud of you and will miss you very much!

God Speed

Update:

We'll see you in 2 years!

Happy Easter

We decided to celebrate 'modern' Easter on Saturday morning so our focus could be more on Christ come Easter Morn.

Each girl got an Easter fascinator, including myself, made by yours truly, and Abraham got a yellow gingham tie.

St Patrick's and Milo Farnsworth's Day

Milo Farnsworth was ordained a Deacon this St Patrick's day. And while I intended to bring Irish soda bread to the festivities, we ate it all before the event. But we had a great time just the same. Unfortunately, the batteries in my camera expired just moments after getting there.

Heidi's house is inspiring to me. It always has been. She is an amazingly gifted lady and has raised wonderful children, one of which I am lucky enough to have in my Knights and Ladies of Liberty class!

And nothing is more fun then spending time with family, especially cousins. Something that I didn't really get to experience as a child.

 Congratulations Milo!

This week in Farnsworth History

Abby has perfected the art of No Bake Cookies.

Thank you Abby, they were perfect!

Zion's Youth Symphony and Choir

This was Morgan's 1st year performing in the choir and she had a great time. The experience was wonderful. Each piece was a delight to listen to. The solo Bring Him Home was absolutely excellent. We are really looking forward with anticipation to the Christmas performance.

Morgan is in the 3rd row in from the back, 2nd lady in from the right. Abby was smart and brought binoculars so we could really 'watch' her.

It was a full house. Both shows sold out in 30 minutes.

I've always wanted...

 To do this..

I can remember, as a child, watching a movie in which a baby had to sleep in a dresser drawer, and since then I've wanted to try it and see if one could really sleep in such a place. Thanks to my son, I now know for certain that the answer is yes, you can.

Passion

“It’s one thing to suffer and be a victim; it’s an entirely different thing to be willing to suffer for a cause and become a victor.
“Even though it has become popular to define passion as deep or romantic love, the real meaning is being willing to suffer for what you love. When we discover what we are willing to pay a price for, we discover our life’s mission and purpose.”
If passion is simply what makes you happy, you’ll quit doing it when it gets tough, when it becomes too risky, when you’re ignored and mocked.
Your true passion is what you’re willing to do if it kills you.
What you stick with even when it’s excruciating. When it’s risky.
The things you do because you know they’re right. Because you know they’ll make a profound difference.
The things that simmer in the deepest parts of your soul — far beyond what’s fun or what feels good.
