At the Back of the North Wind

Run Like The Wind

I love little kids...

In our Commonwealth class we made these Japanese Koi paper fish and my son and nephew thought they'd make good kites.

You know what's great about kids?
They never think twice about making their own wind.
A lack of a breeze doesn't stop them from going outside and flying a kite!
If only adults thought that way about more things.

Commonwealth Shakespeare Faire

This was our first year attending this faire, and we really had a very good time!
Emma and her good pals Elisabeth Osborne and Emily Love wearing their lovely hats made in class with yours truly!

Leave the fighting to the Men! And if you can't beat your foe, just sit on them!

Aullo, Me Ladies!

Looks like some fierce battling between Mary, Queen of Scots and Mary Tudor, Queen of England!

Farnsworth Christmas Party

This year we had so much fun at our annual party!

This was just about the funniest Santa ever!
First we all enjoyed a delicious breakfast

Then we opened our stockings

What a generous Saint Sandy we have! Three days in Disneyland, woohoo!

Then we had a talent show...this was totally awesome and I think we should do it every year!

Don't be a jerk, it's Christmas!

Looks like it was time for another contest, this time it's all cookies! and the winner is...
Sara and the raisin filled cookie!

Having so much fun can really take it out of you..

What a perfectly fun and fulfilling Christmas Party this was. Thank you to all who made it special!

Emma's Baptism

While spending some R&R time in California, we had the privilege of having Emma baptized in Santa Maria with the Pismo Beach ward! On Saturday November 12, 2011 Emma entered the waters of baptism and officially became the newest member of the Meadows 10th ward! Congratulations Emma, job well done!

We love you Miss Emma.
Remember the importance of this day and the promises you've made!
