Abby's #1

I have a great daughter! Her name is Abby. She recently took 1st place in a Harry Potter Quiz at our library! She was the best, but of course, we already knew that! The prize was a stack of new Harry Potter books! Congratulations Abby!

What would I ever do without YOU?

So for the Pioneer Day celebrations my family and I went up to Cedar City. We chose that spot for a few reasons, First I have a dear friend, Melissa...

She's the one in the wheelchair. She's a lovely 8 months pregnant, hence the wheelchair! Well, she gave birth to a darling little girl, Abigail Ann on July 20th and I wanted to go up and see the both of them.

Then, there is this great cherry tree around the corner from our old home there and the cherries were just begging to be picked, and since I had made 18 quarts of cherry jam, we needed some more just for eating. So my awesome husband climbed atop my truck and picked like it was going out of style.

We also got to do a little square dancing and eat some yummy free burgers! Oh I'm so happy we have pioneers!

1st Camping Trip of the Year

Holy Cow, camping takes a lot of work, 

but my kids had a great time! That's all I ask for!

First, we need to get all packed up... Flashlights are a must have!

We like to have sister there too.

And of course we want dad there, too!

Talk about a melt your heart smile!

The Best Christmas ever!

I imagine that I could probably say this every Christmas, and truly mean it, 

but I think I doubly meant it this past Christmas!

We stayed home all day, just My Love, my children and myself.
