February 2017

I loved this picture! We were at the temple for the sealing of Kirby and York to an extension of our family and while we were enjoying the luncheon, there seemed to me to be the perfect photo opportunity.

Then, another work trip was put on the calendar...and I got to go :)
This time, it was to Denver.
We went to see where Little Britches became a rancher, in Littleton, CO
We ate some yummy food, and went and did a Temple session in the Denver Temple.

Sitting in the Denver Union Station on one of the original benches.

After that, we had the pleasure of attending the Royal Court of the Shakespearean Scholars!

Nothing is quite to great as serving, especially when you get to do it with cousins.
Off to Overton we went to help Taz with his Eagle Project. You know what they say, many hands make light work.

January 2017

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah....I know I'm running a little late in my posting. Better late than never?

January! What a great, fun filled, busy month.

We began with a harvest from our own yard. Tomatoes, oranges, tangerines and clementines. We made juice, salsa and enjoyed some of the sweetest fresh fruit, it being all the sweeter coming from our own garden. Thank you Roxanne for all your hard work.

Next, a small birthday celebration for our sweetest Abby! Happy 17th Abby! You're the BEST

Then, it was time to be magically wished away to....New Orleans! Just Dad, Mom and Emma for a 3 day work trip.

This was really an amazing city.
The graveyards were especially neat and the historical detail was beautiful.

This year we got an unusually large amount of snow un on Mt Charleston. We had to take a few hours and drive up the mountain to take a look. Of course us city folk are never quite prepared enough for the cold and the wet, but it was fun all the same.

Then, it was time to attend the annual Jane Austen Evening in Pasadena, CA
A lovely evening, as always!

And as we were preparing to leave Pasadena, Dear ol' Dad decided to go to Disneyland. So we called up the kids (still in Vegas) and Grandma Saint Sandy (in St. George) and asked if they wanted to jump in the car right then, drive up to Anaheim and join us. Of course, there was a unanimous YES!

January was a great month. Thanks everyone who helped make it so.
