Happy Birthday Emma

Emma is now 10! A whole decade old. I remember that birthday well. So to celebrate, we had lots of partying going on. First she went to lunch with her twin a week before the big day, shopping and eating. Then on the big day, she spent the day with her twin again, shopping and eating some more! Then she opened presents and had dessert!

THEN, she had a birthday party with friends a week later.

Happy Birthday, we love you!

Happy Half Birthday Abraham!

Grand Canyon

One final Hooray for the Summer!

We headed for the Grand Canyon. And of course, it's important to start with a clean window.

We stopped at the Hoover Dam.

Then we made it all the way to Williams, Arizona to stay for the night and spent the evening checking out the town! (Look closely at Abraham's expressions)

After a "good" night's rest, we got up early and headed to the train depot to be taken to the Grand Canyon.

Finally! We made it to the park. How amazing and beautiful.

I love Nuns

And now for a relaxing journey back to Williams and a yummy Mexican dinner.

Well, now that we've seen the South Rim, let's go see the North Rim!

Gotta stop for a rainy lunch along the way, of course!

Ahhh, I think I like the North Rim best.

Oh what a fun trip! I am so enjoying the fact that my children are getting collectively old enough to enjoy road trips.

We love trees!
