Disneyland

The perfect way to celebrate President's Day

Nothing like getting started with a hearty McDonald's breakfast, right?

Not too hot, not too cold, not too many people, a little bit of rain, one couldn't ask for a better setting at the park.

Happy Birthday to Abraham

Now you are 5

First we started the day with a healthy breakfast of tuna fish and noodles, par Abraham's birthday request. Then Aunt Jamie came and took Abraham to pick up cousin Moses from school for a birthday excursion...to Build a Bear

Then to get matching shoes and a bite to eat at Chipotle

After a great day with Jamie and Moses, the whole family went to Mutual and then to get pupusas then back home for presents and cake!

Abraham's first real bike! Nothing better than a boy and his bike.

I had a video, but Blogger isn't uploading it. Oh well.

Note that the cake was my first attempt at making a cake from scratch. Abraham asked for a lemon cake and that's what he got, with lemon cream cheese frosting, all made with love by his doting Mother.

Abraham, we love you and are so glad you are now 5!

"Amen"

A haircut and a trip to the park

I have felt this need for being outside. Actually, I've felt the rumblings of change..., but I digress. Morgan's been feeling the need for a change as well, so a couple weeks back, we went out to get a haircut!

Sometimes the hairstylists chair can feel like the electric chair... of course, Abraham and Abby weren't feeling the pressure of the event.

When all was said and done...

She looks amazing, as usual! AND, she still loves it.

After the excitment, there were a few errands that had to be run, and if you know me and my crazy schedule, the day didn't go quite as planned, but we did make it to Tule Springs for an al fresco lunch.
