It's a cupcake contest!

Two weeks ago we loaded  up the kids and headed to St George to participate in the baby blessing of the newest addition to the Farnsworth Family, Tabitha Jean.

And my most wonderful mother in law Saint Sandy decided to host a cupcake contest amongst the females in the family.

We had a outrageous Oreo cupcake, a blissful banana cupcake, a cream-a-licious coconut cupcake and a Fit for a Queen teacup cupcake. Thanks to some helpful judges we have the runners up.
4th Place: Brooke and the Blissful Banana Cupcake
3rd Place: Skylar and the Outrageous Oreo Cupcake
2nd Place: Saint Sandy and the Cream-a-licious Coconut Cupcake
1st Place: Sara and the Fit for a Queen Teacup Cupcake

We had a blast! Thanks Saint Sandy!

Treasures from the DI

When we lived in Cedar City,
our home was one block from the Deseret Industries.
In our house, we call it the DI. So in the middle of the winter,
when there was snow EVERYWHERE and my kids had cabin fever,
we'd go to the DI for a little DIversion.
Well it didn't take long for my sweet son to figure this out,
so whenever we would get in the car, he'd say, 'I wanna go to the DI'.
If we were going home, and he wasn't ready, he'd say 'I wanna go to the DI'.
If we were headed for church, he'd say 'I wanna go to the DI'.
So now we're in Vegas and the DI is about 10 miles from our home,
but that hasn't decreased our love for the DI!

Cousins, Abraham and Moses

I thought these were just too cute!

As my son terms it "I want to be Underwear Man!"

Happy Birthday Emma

Emma has turned 8 years old and
we all know what a special birthday this one is!

First, we started by going out to breakfast, just Mom, Dad and Emma.
Then we went and got a haircut...cute!

After that, we had to open some gifts!

After a day of shopping, lunch and having a good time,
we ended it with some yummy cheesecake and a movie!
(we couldn't wait for the candles!)
